A Mexican national has been charged with illegally re-entering the United States after being deported twice before. Jose Luis Carrasco-Aldape, 37, was found in Clay County, Florida, on February 13, 2025, despite previous removals from the country in 2004 and 2017.

According to the criminal complaint, Carrasco-Aldape was encountered by law enforcement in Clay County. He had not received permission from the Attorney General or the Secretary of Homeland Security to re-enter the United States.
