ORLANDO, Fla – Gear up for an action-packed weekend at MEGACON Orlando 2023!
Once again, the Southeast’s ultimate comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event is bringing fans together for four days of fun.
Guests can celebrate all things fandom with celebrity encounters and endless programming at the Orange County Convention Center from Thursday, March 30, through Sunday, April 2.
Last year, more than 140,000 fans shattered attendance records. This year promises another action-packed weekend with just-announced appearances from Sam Raimi, the director behind favorites like Spider-Man, The Evil Dead, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; “The Fonz” himself, Henry Winkler; and many more fan-favorite guests.

“We’re so excited to welcome fans back to MEGACON 2023, which will be filled with enhanced programming and exciting celebrity encounters,” shares FAN EXPO HQ Vice President Andrew Moyes. “Every type of fan can find something to enjoy here – from anime voice actors, cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, and character meet-and-greets, MEGACON provides the perfect arena for our community year after year.”
This year, fans can meet intergalactic heroes Star Wars icons Vivien Lyra Blair (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano); Star Trek’s Gates McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher), Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike) and Ethan Peck (Spock); as well as The Mandalorian’s Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), Emily Swallow (The Armorer) and Carl Weathers (Greef Karga).
Cast some spells with Harry Potter’s Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom); or meet Wednesday’s Christina Ricci (Marilyn Thornhill / Laurel Gates), who also played Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family Values. Tomer Capone (Frenchie) from superhero hit The Boys will also be on site to sign autographs and snap selfies.
Feeling nostalgic? Childhood favorites Steve Burns (Steve) from Blue’s Clues, and acting legend Henry Winkler (Happy Days, The Waterboy, Arrested Development, Holes,and many more) will meet with fans; plus, Law & Order: Criminal Intent detective Vincent D’Onofrio (Robert Goren); Saved by the Bell’s Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zach Morris); Gilmore Girls’ Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason) and Nickelodeon’s favorite bulldog, Bella and the Bulldogs’ Brec Bassinger (Bella Dawson).

Meet the voices behind iconic characters from Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado (Zach Aguilar), Zenitsu Agatsuma (Aleks Le) and Nezuko Kamado (Abby Trott), as well as Izuku Midoriya (Justin Briner), Momo Yaoyorozu (Colleen Clickenbeard), Ochaco Uraraka (Luci Christian), and Mezo Shoji (Ian Sinclair) from My Hero Academia. More exciting celebrity appearances will be announced leading up to the four-day event which also features family-friendly programming, shopping, workshops, enhanced anime programming, cosplay contests, video game tournaments, and immersive attractions.
For the first time in MEGACON Orlando history, Marvel will be on site as an official partner with an interactive activation for fans to enjoy. MEGACON attendees can meet their favorite cosplayer superstars on Cosplay Alley, or strut their own costumes on the Cosplay Red Carpet. Other exhibits include the return of 501st Legion’s Complete Star Wars Experience, where fans can see and touch props and displays, enjoy movie-themed photo opportunities and explore intergalactic collectibles.
