Toymaker Mattel finds itself in hot water after a hilarious yet inappropriate error surfaced on the packaging of their new “Wicked” movie dolls.

Social media users have been sharing photos of the doll boxes, which display the incorrect website address for the film. Instead of directing fans to the official “WickedMovie.com,” the boxes list “wicked.com,” a website with adult porn content.

The error has sparked amusement and concern online, with users highlighting the potential confusion for parents and children.

“Whoever is responsible for the marketing for the new Wicked dolls has made a HUGE mistake!” tweeted user K_Y_L_I_E_1.

“lol — if you buy your little girl a ‘Wicked’ doll, whatever you do don’t let them visit the website printed on the back of the box,” said Bryan Passifume.

Mattel has yet to comment on the issue or announce a recall of the affected dolls.

The “Wicked” film, based on the popular Broadway musical, hits theaters on November 22nd, 2024.
