A has been sentenced to a quarter-century behind bars following a major drug bust that uncovered a staggering amount of methamphetamine and a deadly fentanyl-cocaine cocktail.
Victor Uriel Diego Estrada, 31, was sentenced to 300 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. This hefty sentence comes after a DEA investigation revealed Estrada’s key role in a large-scale drug trafficking operation spanning from Mexico to north Georgia.

The investigation began with a tip from a confidential source who linked Estrada to a Mexican narcotics broker supplying cocaine and methamphetamine to Georgia. Undercover agents watched as Estrada sold a kilogram of meth to the source, then proceeded to purchase hard chest coolers – a telltale sign of a meth conversion lab.
A raid on Estrada’s Walton County home uncovered a shocking 21,000 grams of nearly pure methamphetamine, packaged and ready for distribution. Agents also seized scales, vacuum-sealed bags, and cell phones containing evidence of Estrada’s illicit activities, including conversations about converting liquid meth into crystal form.
The trail didn’t end there. A search of a related property in Forest Park revealed a staggering 180 kilograms of crystal meth, liquid meth, and a chilling discovery: four kilograms of a fentanyl-cocaine mixture buried in a cooler. The property also contained a loaded 9mm handgun and equipment typically used in meth conversion labs.

“Victor Estrada produced and distributed a massive amount of methamphetamine and deadly quantities of a potentially lethal fentanyl mixture,” stated U.S. Attorney Peter D. Leary. “This case highlights our commitment to disrupting these criminal networks and holding traffickers accountable for the harm they inflict on our communities.”
