TAMPA, Fla. – On July 6, 2016, Marquette Dames left his house in the morning and walked to a family member’s home. No one answered the door, and Dames headed back towards his residence on foot.
Police say Dames met up with the suspect (video below) for an unknown reason.
The suspect attacked Dames physically and then shot him as he tried to escape. Dames was robbed and died of his injuries, police say.
