A manhunt is underway in Florida for 37-year-old Jesus Tamanis-Peralta, who is wanted for the sexual battery of a child.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says that Tamanis-Peralta is an illegal migrant from Mexico who had been living in Martin County and fled after suspecting law enforcement was pursuing him.
He was last seen on Thursday, December 12, in Bradenton, Florida, and is believed to be actively evading capture.
