TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has arrested Silvio Ramon Franco Peralta, 35, following a manhunt after he allegedly murdered two people and fled from deputies.
On July 13, 2024, HCSO responded to a call regarding a deceased female, Lianet Santos Sosa, 31, who was found with upper body trauma on Alvarado Drive.
Detectives identified Franco Peralta as the suspect and discovered he had fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

Franco Peralta later entered Tampa city limits, where he allegedly killed another individual during an altercation.
Deputies issued an alert for the stolen vehicle and pursued Franco Peralta. A precision immobilization technique was used to stop the vehicle, and Franco Peralta was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.
Franco Peralta is currently facing multiple charges from HCSO, including first-degree murder, armed burglary, grand theft auto, and fleeing to elude. The investigation is ongoing.
