TAMPA, Fla.- A Tampa man was shot while driving on I-4 around 2:25 PM on Sunday.
Troopers said the male victim was traveling west on I-4 when a black Hyundai sedan, with three Black males in it, drove up to the left side of the man’s Toyota sedan. The victim’s vehicle was struck by six bullets, hitting the sedan from the trunk and driver’s door, according to Troopers.
According to FHP, the male victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was hit with bullet fragments on his left side and chest area.
The suspects fled westbound on I-4, and the victim was transported to the hospital for the bullet fragment injuries.
