TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – On Tuesday, at approximately 2:29 pm, Officers from the Tarpon Springs Police Department were notified of a body floating in Salt Lake, near the area of Riverside Ridge Rd.
The body was recovered and turned over to the Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The body has been positively identified as Robert Fiscus, 27, who was heard calling for help at approximately 3:40 am on Monday in the water behind Bridge Lounge in Tarpon Spring.
On arrival, the man could not be located, but a bicycle and a cell phone were found.
The cell phone was linked to Robert Fiscus, 27.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit was called to the scene, but the subject could not be found. Members of the Tarpon Springs Fire Department and Police Department searched the water by boat and along the shore by foot for the subject, but he was not located at that time.
