SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police were called to the scene of an industrial accident that killed a man at Home Depot, located at 2300 22nd Ave. N.
It happened at 7:30 PM, as a worker was delivering materials in the back of the store. Police say that a load of construction materials struck and killed the man.
The man was delivering the materials to Home Depot, but was not an employee of that store, according to Police.
It is early in the investigation, but preliminary information indicates this an industrial accident.
Police say the victim’s name will not be released until next of kin is notified.
