PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A man was hit and killed early Saturday morning on Old Lakeland Highway.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car, driven by a 50-year-old Zephyrhills man was traveling northbound on Old Lakeland Highway, approaching Melrose Avenue.
Troopers say a male pedestrian was walking southbound in the northbound lane, was struck by the vehicle, and suffered fatal injuries at the crash scene.
Troopers have not yet identified the man at this time.
