ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday night.
Jonathan Conyers, 50, was taken into custody early Sunday morning and charged with first-degree murder in the death of 57-year-old George Hudson.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 2031 Queensboro Avenue South around 8:26 PM on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found Hudson suffering from a stab wound. Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived and transported Hudson to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives investigating the incident learned that Hudson had been involved in an argument with Conyers earlier that evening. They located and arrested Conyers around 2:50 AM on Sunday.

Conyers was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
