WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A Winter Haven man was arrested Saturday night after allegedly assaulting a victim with a soundbar and his fists, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).
Deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence on 21st Street NW in Winter Haven at approximately 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim and three witnesses.
The victim reported that 48-year-old Reggi D. Cribb, Jr., had intentionally struck them in the face with a soundbar, followed by two punches to the face. One witness corroborated the victim’s account. Another witness stated they did not see how the incident began, while a third witness, a relative of Cribb’s, claimed the victim initiated the altercation.

Cribb, who has a prior battery conviction, had fled the scene before deputies arrived. A search was conducted, involving K9 and Aviation units.
Deputies say Cribb was located and arrested after a citizen reported a suspicious person in the nearby Leisure Shores neighborhood.
Reggi D. Cribb, Jr., was taken to the Polk County Jail and charged with aggravated battery.
