A Florida man was arrested on Sunday, July 23, after he struck another man with a machete at a bar, according to police.
According to police, the machete attack happened at around 8:53 p.m. inside the Old Hickory Whiskey Bar in Pensacola.
Police say Andrew Ryder, 19, walked into the bar and struck the victim in the head with a machete.
Investigators located the machete-wielding teen and ordered him to drop the weapon.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Ryder, of Pensacola, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault with a weapon, assault, and resisting an officer.
