Florida Lottery players struck it rich last week, with multiple million-dollar wins across the state, turning everyday purchases into life-changing windfalls. From Miami to Ponte Vedra Beach, lucky residents cashed in on a variety of scratch-off games, proving that fortune favors the bold – and those who buy a ticket!

The week kicked off with two $1 million winners on Monday. Marcos Valim, 50, of Miami, claimed his prize from the “500X THE CASH” game, taking home a lump sum of $640,000 after purchasing his ticket at a Publix on Biscayne Boulevard.

Simultaneously, Wilfredo Soto, 63, of Lutz, also won $1 million from the “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” game, purchasing his winning ticket from a Publix on Van Dyke Road. Both retailers received a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

Tuesday saw even bigger wins. Bryan Hyers, 50, of Holly Hill, claimed a $2 million top prize from the “MONOPOLY™ SECRET VAULT” game, opting for a lump sum of $1,153,865. His winning ticket was purchased at a Speedway in Ormond Beach, earning the retailer a $4,000 bonus.

Robert Davenport, 66, of Ponte Vedra Beach, hit the jackpot with a $5 million win from the “$5,000,000 TRIPLE MATCH” game, taking home a lump sum of $3,319,810 after buying his ticket at a First Coast Energy location. That sale earned the retailer a $10,000 bonus.

Wednesday brought the week’s largest win: John Eichinger Jr., 53, of Port Orange, claimed a staggering $15 million top prize from the “$15,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER” game.

He turned a $30 purchase at a Port Orange Wawa into a lump sum of $8,968,000, with the retailer receiving a $30,000 bonus. Mykel Lane, 37, of Boca Raton, also won $1 million from the same game, taking home $597,700 after purchasing his ticket at a 7-Eleven.

These wins highlight the popularity of Florida Lottery scratch-off games, which accounted for approximately 74 percent of ticket sales in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Since their inception, scratch-off games have awarded over $65.5 billion in prizes, created 2,283 millionaires, and generated more than $19.80 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
