Lottery Enhancing Florida LOTTO, A Lotto Changes are Coming

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – On Thursday, October 8, the Florida Lottery will introduce a new version of Florida’s flagship Draw game, FLORIDA LOTTO®! The changes will offer players bigger prizes and better overall odds. In addition to the game changes, a new logo and draw show will also be unveiled.

Some of the exciting new features players can expect to see include a prize multiplier on every ticket, a new prize level for matching 2-of-6 numbers, and a new add-on feature that gives players the chance to win up to $250,000 in additional cash prizes for $1 more! The price of a FLORIDA LOTTO ticket will also increase from $1 to $2.

FLORIDA LOTTO sales continue to contribute to education funding in Florida. Since introducing FLORIDA LOTTO in 1988, the game has generated more than $8 billion for Florida’s students and schools. Florida’s flagship Draw game has had over 401 million in winning tickets totaling more than $10.3 billion in prizes. Additionally, FLORIDA LOTTO has created over 1,000 millionaires!
