Another Florida woman is a million dollars richer! The Florida Lottery announced Friday that 62-year-old Anna Newson claimed a $1 million top prize from the LOTERIA™ GRANDE Scratch-Off game.
Newson purchased her winning ticket at Publix, located at 7177 Merrill Road in Jacksonville. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
Instead of annuity payments, Newson opted to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.
