Lockport Man Gets 84 Months In Prison For Role In Fatal Overdose Death

LOCKPORT, NY. – James White, 32, from Lockport, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute heroin and fentanyl.

The sentencing comes after a multi-agency investigation found White sold heroin to an individual who was later found dead from an overdose.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey E. Intravatola revealed that White conspired with others to sell heroin and fentanyl between March 2017 and March 2019.

Text messages recovered from the victim’s phone confirmed the purchase of heroin from White.
