POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Live911 system proved its worth yet again on Sunday, August 18th, as deputies were able to apprehend two men suspected of stealing beer from a 7-Eleven in Auburndale.
Deputies Maynard and Colon were in the right place at the right time, driving past the store just as a 911 call came in reporting the theft. Thanks to Live911, they heard the caller describe the suspects’ vehicle turning onto the street directly behind them.
