TAMPA Fla. – On the evening of July 10th, Linda Toni Lansen left her apartment near Sligh Avenue and Rowlett Park Drive for unknown reasons and never returned.
The next morning, her partially clothed body was discovered by a jogger in the Town n’ Country area of Hillsborough County. The victim died as a result of gunshot wounds.
The victim’s car was recovered the following day parked/abandoned on a residential street in Tampa near Manhattan Avenue and I-275. The victim’s purse was located by the side of a road in Clearwater.
Unfortunately, with some cold cases, we don’t have a wealth of information to get to the public. However, with social media and the speed that information gets distributed, these tools can help get these cases back into the public eye, hoping that someone will remember something from this murder.
