TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning snapped their four-game losing streak and ended the Winnipeg Jets’ seven-game winning run with a convincing 4-1 victory at AMALIE Arena on Thursday night.
Andrei Vasilevskiy was the star of the show, making 23 saves to secure his 300th career NHL win. This achievement makes him the fastest goaltender in league history to reach this milestone, surpassing the record previously held by Jacques Plante.

The Lightning offense came alive, scoring four goals on 29 shots. Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel each netted a goal, with Guentzel adding an empty-netter to seal the win. Anthony Cirelli scored the team’s first power-play goal at home this season, while Nick Paul and Victor Hedman tallied key assists.
The Tampa Bay penalty kill was instrumental in the victory, shutting down all five Winnipeg power plays, including opportunities against the league’s top-ranked unit.
