NASCAR driver Brandon Brown – of “Let’s go Brandon” fame – said recently he was struggling to find sponsors, as the Cancel Culture seemed to be seeking retribution for his name becoming a conservative rallying cry.
But on Thursday, Brown announced that he has picked up a new sponsor that fully embraces the LGB craze.
LGBcoin.io, a cryptocurrency, will be Brown’s primary sponsor for the 2022 NASCAR season.
Brown’s ride also has been given a makeover. The No. 68 Camaro used by family-run Brandonbilt Motorsports has ditched the pink-and-black scheme of last season for a red, white, and blue theme.
“We are thrilled to partner with Brandonbilt Motorsports and Brandon Brown for the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season,” James Koutoulas, LGBcoin HODLer and founder of Typhoon Capital Management said in a statement.
“Brandon is not only an incredibly talented driver but also a thoughtful individual wise beyond his years. His commitment and singular focus on his profession is inspiring and his personal story is one that we can all be proud of — an American story of success and perseverance. Brandon is truly America’s Driver.”
“We are proud to support Brandon this season, to help him continue his American dream,” Koutoulas added. “If we do our job right, when you think of us, and you hear, ‘Let’s Go Brandon,’ you’ll think and feel, ‘Let’s Go America.’”
The rear fenders of the car are emblazoned with the company logo LGBcoin.io in bold blue letters.
As The Free Press reported last week, that last line is a reference to an opinion column Brown recently wrote for Newsweek magazine.
In the piece, Brown noted that he has found himself in “the passenger seat of my own viral moment.” That occurred in October after an NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast, in a fit of political correctness, announced that fans at Talladega Superspeedway were chanting “Let’s go Brandon,” when they were really saying “F–k Joe Biden,” as she interviewed Brown following his first win on NASCAR’s Xfinity circuit.
“I have no interest in leading some political fight. I race cars. I am not going to endorse anyone, and I am certainly not going to tell anyone how to vote,” Brown wrote.
But he added that he understood the struggles of everyday Americans under the Biden administration and said he would speak out when he felt compelled “to spotlight issues that are important to me and to millions of Americans across the country.”
He concluded the column with “Let’s Go America.”
In a press release, Brown said, “Having the financial support of LGBcoin is incredible, especially at such a pivotal time in our team’s growth as we work to build to the next level of competition.”
“From wondering if we would have the financial means to continue to compete, to my first major win (at Talladega no less), to becoming an unintentional meme, this past season was a rollercoaster. The support of sponsors like LGBcoin empowers us to be as competitive as possible and I’m looking forward to competing hard on the track in 2022.”
Brown’s team noted that he is the first NASCAR driver to secure multiple endorsements from cryptocurrency providers – a growing market in these uncertain and inflationary times under Biden. CNBC reported on Thursday that the digital money market had a record year in 2021, and is now a $3 trillion industry.
Brown and LGBcoin.io will make their 2022 racing debut at the Xfinity series season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 19.

Let’s be clear about NASCAR and its claims of avoiding politics.
History shows (and proves) NASCAR avoids political subjects when convenient and publicly beneficial to the organization. They are, in plain infield language, Fucking Liars and Posers.
NASCAR has donated gazillions of dollars to political parties, candidates, and agendas for decades. They apparently run with the current political train of thought that seems to work for the immoral minority: ‘Just state the lie and repeat it until people believe it’.
And so it goes when it comes to NASCAR’s claims of unbiased, non-political actions and words.
