Legislative Lobbying Tops $52M In Florida

According to a state compilation posted online Thursday, lobbying firms earned an estimated $52.825 million for legislative work during the first three months of the year, which included the annual legislative session.

Firms faced a Wednesday deadline for filing reports showing compensation from Jan. 1 through March 31.

During the same period in 2023, firms reported about $47.75 million.

The numbers are estimates because firms generally report client compensation in ranges such as $10,000 to $19,999, $20,000 to $29,999, and $30,000 to $30,999.
