A Las Vegas man is facing murder charges after a woman was found unresponsive in a hotel room on June 12th and later died on June 21 in the hospital.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Jason Kendall, turned himself in to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department headquarters on Friday, June 14th.
According to a press release, officers initially responded to Spring Valley Hospital at approximately 6:10 pm on June 12th after the woman was brought in with injuries suggesting possible battery.

Authorities determined the woman had been found unresponsive in a hotel room at the Palms located on the 4300 block of West Flamingo Road.
Police say the victim, Larissa Garcia, 30, was with Kendall before her death.
Kendall has been charged with open murder, sexual assault, and battery by strangulation with the intent to commit sexual assault.
He is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail. The investigation into the woman’s death is ongoing.
