LARGO, Fla. – Largo is actively coordinating recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Debby. While residents are encouraged to stay informed through local news, the City will share updates on services and closures at Largo.com/Storm and on social media.

City Services Update:

  • Largo City Hall: Open for regular business (8am-5pm)
  • Largo Public Library: Closed today, expected to reopen Tuesday, August 6
  • Largo Golf Course: Closed until further notice
  • Largo Recreation Facilities: Open for regular business hours
  • Solid Waste Collection: Running on schedule

Post-Storm Safety Reminders:

  • Treat intersections as four-way stops if traffic lights are out.
  • Report home or business damage at disaster.pinellas.gov.
  • Avoid downed power lines and report them if possible.
  • Avoid flooded areas and standing water.
  • Do not drive on flooded roads.
  • Keep power off after flooding until checked by an electrician.
  • Operate generators safely outdoors.
  • Document damage and contact your insurance company.
