Largo Murder Suspect Followed Victims Home Before Fatally Stabbing The Two Women

LARGO, Fla. – Police say that the 19-year-old man behind bars for murdering two women, followed the victims home before burglarizing their residence and brutally stabbing them to death,.

Police say that at 1:53 a.m. on Monday, Officers responded to a residence in the area of the 1000 block of 8th Ave. NW in Largo, for a 911 call, where they found two women dead.

Police revealed that 19-year-old Sage Gayle Curry, followed the two female victims to their residence after seeing them out in public.

Curry later entered the residence through a bedroom window and fatally attacked the first victim with a knife while she was sleeping. The second female victim was alerted to the intruder and came to the defense of the first victim, injuring Curry.

The second female victim tragically suffered fatal knife wounds while attempting to protect the first victim. The arrested, Sage Curry, eventually exited the residence and requested help from a neighbor for the injuries he sustained at the hands of the second victim.

Police say at this time, this incident is believed to be a random act with no known relationship between the victims and the arrested, however, that could change as the investigation continues.

The identify of the victim will not be released as next of kin has requested confidentiality under Marsy’s Law.

Police will not release any additional information at this time as detectives continue the investigation. We will update this story when more details are released.
