LARGO, Fla. – Largo Fire Rescue is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association and Domino’s Pizza to promote fire safety awareness during Fire Prevention Week. On Tuesday, October 22nd, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., residents ordering Domino’s pizza from the 800 East Bay Dr. location might be surprised to find their delivery arriving on a fire engine!
But it’s not just about pizza. Largo firefighters will also check the resident’s smoke alarms to ensure they are in working order. If the alarms are functioning correctly, the pizza is free! If any faulty alarms are found, firefighters will replace them on the spot, free of charge.

This initiative aligns with this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme, “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You!” It emphasizes the importance of having working smoke alarms tailored to the specific needs of each household.
Largo Fire Rescue is committed to helping residents maintain proper fire safety. They offer free smoke alarm installations and home safety surveys year-round.
