TAMPA, Fla. – Beginning at 9 a.m. today, both northbound lanes on North Florida Avenue will be closed between East Hillsborough and East Comanche Avenues while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break.
Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the work.

The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, with a return to normal traffic patterns.
However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to complete additional work.
Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The Tampa Water Department staff and crews appreciate everyone’s patience during this time.
