TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should anticipate delays on North 50th Street due to a lane closure for water main repairs.
Starting at 9:00 AM today, the outside southbound lane of North 50th Street will be closed between Palm River Road and South 10th Avenue.
The lane closure is necessary to allow crews from the Tampa Water Department to repair a water main break. Drivers should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.

Barricades and signs will be in place to help manage traffic flow and ensure safety in the work zone.
The Tampa Water Department aims to complete the repairs and reopen the lane by 5:00 PM on Friday, January 17th. However, additional work may be required at a later date, and updates will be provided if necessary.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the area and be mindful of crews and equipment.
