The arrest is part of FDLE’s statewide initiative to target individuals who solicit children for sexual relationships online and distribute child sexual abuse material.

The investigation was initiated after the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office requested FDLE assistance in a runaway child investigation.

Agents discovered that a juvenile victim had been contacted by a suspect through social media. The suspect had arranged multiple times for the minor to be transported to his Land O’ Lakes residence, where he engaged in sexual acts with her.
