LAKELAND, Fla. – Jaime Marie Sara, 40, of Lakeland, was arrested Wednesday evening, March 26th, for retail theft at the Mulberry Walmart.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was dispatched to the store around 6:30 p.m. in response to a detained theft suspect.
Walmart security reported that Sara had passed all points of sale with approximately $83 worth of merchandise concealed in her purse.

The stolen items included a 3200-lumen flashlight, a fishing lure kit, wax melt cubes, and a lure additive.
Sara reportedly told the deputy that she intended to steal the items for her boyfriend.
Jaime Marie Sara was arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, where she was charged with Petit Theft/2nd Offense.
