POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Lakeland man, wanted on two felony battery warrants, was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Monday, July 29th.
34-year-old Christopher Adam Metrovich was initially spotted driving a silver Nissan SUV on the Polk Parkway around 3 a.m. After a brief pursuit, deputies stopped Metrovich and took him into custody.

During the arrest, deputies observed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test, which Metrovich failed.
He was subsequently charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a DUI breath test, in addition to his existing warrants. Metrovich was then transported to the Polk County Jail.
