POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 40-year-old Lakeland man, Orisleivy Reyes, was arrested earlier this month after being caught driving a stolen vehicle.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies initiated a traffic stop on the stolen 2015 Infiniti Q50 on US 92 near Bridgers Avenue in Auburndale on November 14. When questioned about the vehicle’s ownership, Reyes provided conflicting and suspicious information.

Reyes claimed to have purchased the vehicle “three or four days ago,” from a Citgo store for $3,000 cash but could not provide any documentation or details about the seller or the location of the store.
Reyes was arrested and charged with grand theft auto. He is currently being held at the Polk County Jail.
