LAKELAND, Fla. – Isaiah Knight, 33, of Lakeland, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Monday morning for retail theft at the Mulberry Walmart.
According to the PCSO, a deputy was dispatched to the Walmart located at 6745 Church Avenue at approximately 11:15 a.m. in response to a report of a retail theft.
Store security informed the deputy that a man had taken numerous items from a shelf and placed them into a duffel bag. The man also attempted to remove a spider-wrap security device, during which he cut his hand.

The total value of the items taken by the suspect was $298.
The suspect was located nearby at a bus stop and arrested. He was identified as Isaiah Knight and transported to the Polk County Jail.
Authorities noted that because Knight has two prior theft convictions, the petit theft charge was upgraded to felony petit theft.
