LAKELAND, Fla. – Richard Pitts, 55, of Lakeland, was arrested on Thursday, March 20th, by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) on an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
PCSO deputies were dispatched to Morgan Combee Road, east of Lakeland, to locate Pitts. The warrant stemmed from an incident in which Pitts was accused of threatening to kill a woman with a chainsaw.

Pitts was located and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Polk County Jail on the warrant.
