LAKELAND, Fla. – Together with SPCA Florida, the Lakeland Fire Department (LFD) is making sure that our four-legged friends don’t go hungry during the holiday season.
Beginning November 5 to November 11, 2023, LFD and SPCA are uniting for 7 Days of Giving.
Community members are invited to donate cat or dog food at any of the community’s seven LFD stations during this first week-long event.
The SPCA has set an ambitious target to raise $7,000 in cash donations and 7,000 pounds of pet food during the 7 Days of Giving in order to support its vital work.

“We respectfully ask that all monetary contributions be made directly to the SPCA,” said LFD.
The 7 Days of Giving campaign will have a big impact on the SPCA’s continued efforts to help pet owners in need and give underprivileged pet owners in our community access to vital resources through their food supply programs.
