LAKELAND, Fla. – Lakeland resident Jose Koenig Sr. was arrested on August 5th by Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) deputies on multiple charges including kidnapping, battery, and tampering with evidence.
This arrest comes shortly after his son, Jose Koenig Jr., was arrested on July 26th for attempted felony murder, felony battery, and leaving the scene of a crash involving injury.
Jose Koenig Sr. was apprehended on Nashville Road in Lakeland without incident.

“It’s not the first time Jose Sr has been accused of bad behavior…he has a history that includes armed robbery, felony theft, criminal mischief, burglary, and carrying a concealed firearm. Plus, he’s been in Florida State Prison twice,” said Polk County Sheriff’s Office in an X post.
