LAKELAND, Fla. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a vehicle burglary and subsequent credit card theft that occurred earlier this month on Swindell Road in Lakeland.  

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a female resident of Swindell Road reported that her vehicle was broken into on the evening of April 9, 2025.

The following morning, April 10th, the victim discovered her purse was missing from the vehicle. While the purse was later recovered, her credit and debit cards were not inside.  

Detectives have obtained video footage showing a suspect using one of the victim’s stolen credit cards at multiple retail locations within Polk County. Authorities are now asking for the community’s help in identifying this individual.
