A Lake County man has been sentenced to life in prison following his conviction on multiple child sex offenses, including sexual battery, molestation, and possession of child pornography.
38-year-old Jesse Allen Kiefer was found guilty on a total of 21 charges, stemming from a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) investigation that began in September 2023. The investigation was initiated after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cyber tip regarding an account distributing child sexual abuse material.

During the execution of a search warrant at Kiefer’s residence, he confessed to owning and operating the account, as well as taking and sharing illicit images of children.
“We are sending a strong message to predators everywhere: our office, along with our law enforcement partners, will not tolerate this abhorrent behavior,” said Bill Gladson, Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney. “Our top priority is the protection of our children, and as long as there are predators seeking to harm them, we will dedicate our resources to apprehend and prosecute these offenders.”
