Roldan pleaded guilty to the charge on October 3, 2024. The date is inconsistent. It should be 2023.
According to court documents, on December 11, 2023, Roldan sold a substance containing methamphetamine to an undercover law enforcement officer.

The sale involved 50 grams or more of the mixture. Investigators revealed that Roldan had sold methamphetamine to the same undercover officer on at least two prior occasions. In total, Roldan was responsible for selling 59 grams of pure methamphetamine.
At the time of these offenses, Roldan was already on supervised release for a previous conviction for the same crime, highlighting a pattern of recidivism. The details of the prior conviction were not specified in the provided information.

The case was a collaborative effort, investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lake City Police Department.
Assistant United States Attorney John Cannizzaro prosecuted the case. The sentence underscores the serious consequences of drug trafficking, particularly for repeat offenders.
