PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Crews from Pinellas Park and Largo responded to the Sun Seair Mobile Home Park this morning at approximately 6:30 AM and found a fully involved structure.
The occupants of the home included one adult male, one adult female, and a family cat.
The adult male and female occupants had evacuated prior to the arrival of fire crews, but fire crews say the cat could not be located.
Paramedics evaluated the man and woman on the scene and found no injuries sustained.
Firefighters initiated an offensive attack and had the fire out within 20 minutes. The mobile home was completely destroyed and a vehicle under the home’s carport sustained damage.
There was no fire exposure to other structures. American Red Cross was called out to assist the home’s residents.
Pinellas Park’s fire inspector on the scene stated that the fire originated in the kitchen. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
