Kissimmee Man Arrested In Lake Wales On Outstanding Burglary Warrant

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old Kissimmee man, Nathan Downing, was apprehended yesterday in Lake Wales by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) and the Lake Wales Police Department.

Downing was wanted on an outstanding Polk County warrant for Violation of Probation related to a charge of Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling.

Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, law enforcement officers located Downing at the Jamaican Spot Hotel, situated at 16905 US 27. Deputies from the PCSO, in collaboration with Lake Wales Police, followed up on the information provided by the tipster.

At approximately 2:35 pm on Monday, April 28th, authorities made contact with Downing at the hotel and subsequently placed him under arrest without incident.

Downing was booked into the Polk County Jail, where he will face the charge of Violation of Probation. Further details regarding the original burglary charge were not immediately available.
