Key Largo Resident Honored For Supporting Florida Sheriffs Association

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Mr. Anthony W. Esernia, a resident of Key Largo, was recently honored by the Florida Sheriffs Association for his continued support of the organization and local law enforcement.

Esernia was recognized for his status as a Lifetime Donor to the Florida Sheriffs Association. This honor is bestowed upon individuals who have made significant financial contributions to the organization.

The Florida Sheriffs Association is a non-profit professional organization comprising 67 of Florida’s elected Sheriffs, along with thousands of business leaders and citizens throughout the state. Its mission is to enhance law enforcement through educational and charitable purposes.

Esernia’s support for the Florida Sheriffs Association has been instrumental in helping the organization achieve its mission.

His donations have helped to fund a variety of programs and initiatives, including:

  • The Florida Sheriffs Association Foundation, which provides scholarships and grants to law enforcement officers and their families.
  • The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, which provide residential treatment and rehabilitation programs for troubled youth.
  • The Florida Sheriffs Association’s Law Enforcement Training Academy, which provides training and education for law enforcement officers.

Esernia is a long-time resident of the Florida Keys and has been involved in the community for many years. He is a retired business owner and is currently a member of the Key Largo Rotary Club.
