Key Largo Man Arrested For Residential Burglaries

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A 35-year-old Key Largo man has been arrested in connection with two residential burglaries that occurred earlier this week.

Michael Eric Lenehan-Pons was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with multiple counts of burglary and larceny, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

Detectives began investigating the burglaries on Tuesday. The incidents occurred on Humpty Dumpty Drive and South Bay Harbor Drive in Key Largo. A bicycle and a Garmin boat GPS were reported stolen.

Lenehan-Pons was identified as the suspect, and warrants were issued for his arrest. He was subsequently booked into the Monroe County jail.
