POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Timothy Rountree, 60, from Bloomfield, Kentucky, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office after forcibly entering an Indian Lake Estates home.
On July 31st, Rountree arrived at the home claiming he was there to retrieve a firearm left behind by the previous resident, whom he referred to as his “granny.”
After being questioned by the current residents, Rountree pushed his way into the home, sparking an argument. He then shoved both residents and fled in his maroon Chevy truck.

Polk County deputies quickly located Rountree, who denied pushing anyone and claimed the residents were the aggressors. He reiterated that he was there at his granny’s request to retrieve her gun. However, when deputies contacted his grandmother, she denied asking him to get the gun and stated she had no interest in it.
Rountree was subsequently arrested and charged with burglary with battery. He is currently being held at the Polk County Jail.
