After the announcement of the latest indictment against former President Donald Trump, Kari Lake called on all GOP candidates to suspend their campaigns and stand with Trump.
“This is the most egregious case of election interference in the history of our country,” said Lake. “This a battle that a unified Republican party MUST fight. Otherwise, we will lose this country forever. That is why I am calling on all Republican candidates for President to immediately suspend their campaigns, stop wasting hard-earned donor money and rally around our nominee, President Donald J. Trump.”
On Tuesday, a sealed indictment was handed down against former President Donald J. Trump in the grand jury investigation of his attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Trump announced on July 18 that he received a letter from special counsel Jack Smith on Sunday notifying him he was the target of a Jan. 6 riot investigation and the 2020 election.
The sweeping indictment charges Trump with four counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of an attempt to obstruct an official proceeding on Jan 6, and conspiracy against rights.
Other Republicans took to social media to stand with Trump Tuesday, slamming special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment against him.

• Hunter received money from China (contradicting President Biden’s claim)
• President Biden spoke with Hunter’s business associates over 20 times (contradicting what Biden previously claimed)
• Biden’s DOJ tried to secretly give Hunter broad immunity and admitted the sweetheart deal was unprecedented
And just yesterday a new poll showed President Trump is without a doubt Biden’s leading political opponent.
