Leftists, including President Joe Biden and others in his administration, slammed Republican Govs. Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas for shipping illegal immigrants to allow self-proclaimed “sanctuary cities” to live up to their billing.
But it’s a safe bet to assume we won’t hear a peep out of them now that we know Biden was also transporting illegal immigrants around the country, including to red states that opposed his lax border policies.
Even when children are involved.
The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch tweeted on Thursday evening about public records it recently obtained that revealed Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services used “nighttime transportation” to shuttle “unaccompanied alien children (UAC) by air from Texas to Tennessee.”
The HHS also backed at least two other flights that made “multiple” stops across the country, Judicial Watch reported.

In fact, it appears Biden’s team had the idea of shipping illegal immigrants around the country long before DeSantis or Abbott started doing so.
Judicial Watch said it requested records of such trips in May 2021, just four months after Biden took office. The group later sued the federal government in October 2022 to obtain them after HHS resisted handing over the records.
The Administration for Children and Families, a division of HHS, deposited nearly 300 illegal-immigrant children in places like Oklahoma City and Chattanooga. In one instance, a flight left Dallas at 3 a.m.
In documents, the HHS referred to the carrier as Swift Air, a charter airline that has a headquarters in Miami.
Judicial Watch noted that one example of the flights indicated 36 children originally from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and El Salvador were flown to Tennessee.

Once there, the children were to be sent to shelters throughout the state. Just three of the three dozen were “reunifications,” meaning other family members awaited them.
One of Chattanooga’s shelters where these kids were sent, La Casa de Sydney, closed in 2021 after reports of runaways and sexual battery against arrivals, Judicial Watch reported.
“These shocking documents forced out by a Judicial Watch lawsuit show the Biden administration effectively trafficking unaccompanied alien children, dropping them off in city after city like items for delivery,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.
“The Biden open borders crisis is resulting in the most massive child and human trafficking operation ever.”
