TAMPA, Fla. – A temporary injunction against Commissioner Richard Corcoran’s executive order forcing all brick-and-mortar schools in Florida to reopen in August, has been ruled by Judge Dodson.
Judge Dodson said the executive order was ‘unconstitutional’ to require ‘brick and mortar’ classes, this month, to reopen.
In a tweet, the FEA says.
FEA appreciates that Judge Dodson has granted our motion for a temporary injunction against Commissioner Corcoran’s executive order. Districts’ hands will not be tied as we continue the fight to protect students and educators in our public schools. Press avail will be at 3:45pm.

A press conference is scheduled at 3:45 PM and there will be questions answered about schools that have already reopened.
