Johnstown Pennsylvania Woman Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug Charges

JOHNSTOWN, Penn. – Amanda Weidner, 40, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, admitted her involvement in a drug conspiracy involving heroin and cocaine base in federal court. She pleaded guilty to one count of violating federal narcotics laws.

According to court documents, Weidner participated in the drug distribution network from approximately February 2021 to June 2021. Evidence collected from a federal wiretap revealed Weidner acquiring and distributing illegal drugs.

Sentencing for Weidner is scheduled for January 7, 2025, before Senior U.S. District Judge Kim R. Gibson. She could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. The final sentence will be determined based on the severity of the offense and Weidner’s prior criminal record.

Multiple federal, state, and local agencies, including the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, the ATF, the IRS, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and various Pennsylvania law enforcement entities, investigated the case.

This prosecution is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative, aimed at combating high-level drug trafficking and organized crime.
