KISSIMMEE, Fla – Island H2O Water Park, located at Margaritaville in Kissimmee, is inviting guests to “dive into excitement” for a good cause this spring. The park announced today a special fundraiser benefiting the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village, offering discounted admission while supporting children with lifelong chronic conditions.

Through this promotion, guests can purchase a full-day ticket to Island H2O Water Park for just $20. A significant portion of each sale, $10 per ticket, will be donated directly to the Sunshine Foundation. The current fundraising effort is focused on helping grant the dream of Alayah, a 4-year-old diagnosed with Level 3 Severe Autism, who loves swimming, playing outdoors, and riding her bike.

Purchasers should note that tickets are non-transferable and require presentation of a photo ID and the credit card used for purchase upon entry at the park.

Tickets can be purchased directly at: Dive Into Fun for a Great Cause! – Sunshine Foundation.

Island H2O Water Park, which opened in 2019, is known for integrating technology with water park fun. It boasts thrilling slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and kid-friendly zones, all enhanced by a state-of-the-art wristband system for interactive experiences like social media sharing and personalized music.

The beneficiary, the Sunshine Foundation, has been granting dreams since 1976 for children facing severe chronic illnesses and conditions such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy, severe autism, Down syndrome, Sickle Cell Disease, and many others. The foundation prides itself on assisting children who might be turned away from other wish-granting organizations due to diagnostic requirements, relying solely on donations.

While the most common dream requests involve trips to Central Florida theme parks like Legoland, Universal Studios, Disney World, and SeaWorld, often accompanied by a stay at the foundation’s accessible Dream Village resort, they also fulfill “Special Dreams.” These can range from shopping sprees and technology like computers or iPads to adaptive equipment, family trips, and more.

The Sunshine Foundation has positively impacted the lives of over 43,280 children across the United States and holds top ratings from charity watchdogs, including a perfect score from CharityNavigator and an “A” rating from CharityWatch.
